Had a good meeting today with the Director General of the Department of Shipping on the pressing Flag Waiver issue concerning the Bangladesh Flag Vessels (Protection of Interest) Act 2019, where our Chairman BSAA - Bangladesh Shipping Agents' Association, Mr Syed Mohammad Arif, Senior Vice Chairman and Board Directors presented their case to the DG along with Directors of BCSA. 

Principal Officer of the Mercantile Marine Department and Senior representatives of BOGSOA, SR Shipping and HR Lines was also present in the meeting.
