Received a special crest on behalf of one of my company Interport Ship Agents Ltd (ISAL), from the honourable Chairman of Mongla Port Authority (MPA), Rear Admiral Mohammad Musa, for handling the largest number of Ships in Mongla Port (along with the largest number of LPG Ships) as Shipping Agent for the fiscal year 2020-21. 

Today marks the 71st founding anniversary of Mongla Port, the second largest seaport of Bangladesh in the golden anniversary (50th) year of our independence as a nation.

ISAL Port Agency division achieved this remarkable milestone for the 3rd consecutive time. 

Due to MPA's tremendous boost in capacity and services in the recent years along with the cooperation from the Port Users, a record 970 numbers of merchant vessels moored at the port during this year, which is the highest in 70 years. During the ceremony, Rear Admiral Mohammad Musa, pledged to reach the milestone of handling 3000 merchant vessels per year at Mongla Port by 2025.

Honourable Shipping Ministry Secretary, Mohammad Mesbah Uddin Chowdhury presided over the Ceremony as Chief Guest.
