I am a connector, passionate about linking people and ideas to create value. Networking is at the core of my work, and I thrive on building relationships across cultures and backgrounds to foster collaboration and innovation.

From an early age, I’ve been deeply connected to the Blue Ocean. My father, Advocate Mohiuddin Abdul Kadir (Capt MAK), a renowned Master Mariner and graduate of the Bangladesh Marine Academy, sailed on various ocean-going ships. I had the rare privilege of accompanying him on numerous voyages across Asia and the South Pacific during his service as Captain. These formative experiences sparked my lifelong dedication to the maritime industry.

As the Managing Director of Interport Group, I lead our operations in claims handling and advisory services, marine survey and ship agency services, ensuring that our work adheres to the highest standards of compliance, efficiency, and ethical conduct. The company, founded by my father, has been a pillar in the maritime sector since its inception, and I am proud to continue his legacy of service and leadership.

In addition to my work at Interport, I am actively involved in industry advocacy and policy development. As a Board Director of the Bangladesh Shipping Agents Association (BSAA) and a Standing Committee Member on Blue Economy at the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FBCCI), I contribute to discussions and reforms that shape the future of Bangladesh’s maritime industry. My commitment to ethical shipping practices is further reflected in my role as working group Member of the Maritime Anti-Corruption Network (MACN), Bangladesh.

I am also committed to youth engagement and empowerment in the Maritime Sector and founded YoungShip in Bangladesh, where I actively mentor the next generation of maritime professionals.

Beyond my professional work, singing and playing football remain my cherished hobbies, cultivated since my school days in Cardiff, Wales. They serve as a reminder of the importance of balance and personal expression in both life and work.
