The blue ocean has always been a part of my life. Growing up, I sailed across Asia and the South Pacific with my legendary father, Capt.MAK, and from those early days, I found my passion for shipping and global trade. What started as my first role as a Junior Claims Executive has grown into a journey across marine claims management, ship agency, logistics, surveys, and international training in P&I Insurance and Loss Prevention—today leading me to serve as Managing Director of Interport Group. With a law degree from the University of London and now pursuing an Executive MBA in Shipping & Logistics at Copenhagen Business School, I strive to work not only for my company but also for the wider maritime industry through leadership roles in different trade associations. My mission is to support safe, sustainable, and efficient growth for ports and shipping in Bangladesh. Beyond work, I am deeply passionate about connecting with people, sharing experiences, and building meaningful relationships. I believe in giving back to the society. I treasure moments with family and friends, and get daily inspiration from my three energetic sons and endless motivation from my loving wife.
